ANC to host fundraising breakfast at EL city hall

The ANC in Buffalo City will host a fundraising breakfast meeting at the City Hall  tomorrow.

Dr WB Rubusana region’s head of election campaign  Sinethemba Mashalaba said the party wants to give the business sector an opportunity to interrogate the ANC’s mayoral-elect Xola Pakati on how he plans to improve the face of the City when voted into office.

Pakati is the current BCM deputy mayor. Mashalaba said he is very clued up with the priorities of the City, “but it is important to give other stakeholders the opportunity to give their own ideas on whether the ANC is on the right track in its running of our Metro and what can we improve on how”.

The programme which will start at 8am until 10am is set such that the guests would be allowed to interact with the mayoral candidate and thereafter “he will have to reply and give a concrete commitment on some of the issues the business sector raised during their interaction”, said Mashalaba.

A seat will cost R5 000 while a table of 10 is going for R50 000.

“A breakfast buffet will be on offer, with everything fresh as ever,” he said. “We have arranged everything such that our guests can feel free to go on with their businesses after 10am. This one will be one of its kind,” said Mashalaba.
