Bonang set to launch her own bursary foundation soon

Mzansi’s ‘IT’ girl Bonang Matheba wants to help make a difference in the lives of more young people.

To help her achieve this goal‚ Bonang has announced that she will be launching the Bonang Matheba Bursary Foundation soon.

The news comes just days after B donated R6 500 to a student who could not afford her registration fees.

B donated a second time after a young girl called in during her Metro FM show‚ imploring the TV star to lend a helping hand. Bonang heeded the call‚ which also prompted the idea of being able to help more young people.

“I work for an amazing radio station... A platform that allows me to change lives... Xoli called into my show a while ago‚ begging me to pay for her tuition... A few weeks later‚ she’s registered for her course.”

B added that she’s dedicating the rest of her year to changing lives.

“I’m dedicating my 2016 to helping‚ changing and inspiring the lives of young women!! Thank you Xoli and Asanda for trusting me.. Make me proud!! The Bonang Matheba Bursaries launch soon... grateful for a blessed life.. Let’s make a difference.”
