Popular gospel group Joyous Celebration are set to record their next album and DVD in the US‚ in collaboration with world-renowned pastor T.D. Jake’s Potter’s House choir
The pastor made the announcement during his service in Dallas‚ Texas on Sunday morning‚ joking that the group are “as popular as Beyoncé” in South Africa.
The group will travel to America in December for a performance with the choir‚ set for December 3.
Speaking to Tiso Black Star Group Entertainment on Monday‚ the group’s co-founder Jabu Hlongwane said that they are excited about the project and that more details on the performance would be released in the next few days.
“We have been planning this project for some time now and an agreement was recently concluded. We are excited for the opportunity‚” Jabu said.

The group have announced that travel packages to their performance in Dallas “will be announced soon.”
