Afro soul band La Peafa is back by popular demand and this weekend will perform at the Berlin November Sunday Edition picnic.

The event, organised by SLAK and Aysmaan Entertainment, will see the group launch their latest single, Cela.

La Peafa recently reunited after taking a break from music.

Members of the group include Spokazi Nolatsho, Ays Mabusela and Thembani Gidi, who all last year focused on personal projects.

Nolatsho got married last year and started her own business while Gidi moved to Port Elizabeth and Mabusela joined Keith Ngesi Radio as a presenter.

Mabusela said the break gave him time to focus on growing his company, Aysmaan Entertainment.

He was also performing as a solo act at events around the province. He said the new single formed part of their upcoming album due to be released in 2017.

They have performed on platforms such as the Salga Awards, Amathole district municipality’s state of the district address, Buyel’Ekhaya Festival and Eskom Chairman’s Awards in Johannesburg, among others.
