Relay for Life

THE Cancer Relay for Life 2017 takes place on Saturday at the Jan Smuts stadium. The opening ceremony starts at 5pm, and the survivor’s lap of honour will happen at 5.30pm.

Race for charity

Saxophone treat

SAXOPHONIST, Andrew Young is at the Guild Theatre next Thursday with his show, Get Back a tribute to the Beatles.

Through music, film, pictures and anecdotes Young takes the audience through his life in Liverpool and plays the songs that have influenced him and a generation of musicians. Get Back has been performed in Europe, China and South Africa to rave reviews. Show starts at 7.30pm, tickets R120pp from Computicket.

  • Music in the Park from 3pm at Berea Gardens Valley on Sunday, March 26. Includes performances from Hudson Park Brass Band, Selborne College Military Band and Stirling High School Band.
