The Jaziel Brothers took their fans on a decade-long musical journey when they performed at The Venue at Hemingways Mall at the weekend.

Performing for hundreds of people, the duo took their audience back to when they first burst on to the music scene more than 10 years ago.

The crowd sang along and danced to the music throughout the show.

The brothers, Luthando and Ntobeko Ngcizela, released their latest album, Out of The Box last year. They worked with the likes of Big Nuz, iFani and Amanda Black on the album.

The performers also used the East London show to introduce their fans to their new sound, which the fans embraced.

One fan of the brothers, Palesa Duba, said the show was put together well.

“The show was fully packed. It’s a reflection of how much we love the Jaziel Brothers. They brought us through three albums, The Beginning, The Journey and Out of The Box. Overall it was a good show; we are looking forward to seeing the Jaziel Brothers in East London again.”

Another supporter, Pat Mlandu said it was the first time he had seen the group perform live.

“I have always been the CD- buying fan, and it was amazing seeing the group performing live. They have so much energy.”

Others took to the duo’s Facebook page to congratulate them on their performance.

Unathi Nonkwelo Halu wrote: “Wow, you guys made me cry when you performed Ndikhokhele; you nailed it. In fact, the show was excellent, may God shower you with many more blessings, keep up the good work.” Nomfundo Mapuma said: “What a great show .... My voice is gone all thanks to you.”
