Confusion over no-confidence vote in Bobani

Defiant UDM councillor Mongameli Bobani maintains he is still the deputy mayor of Nelson Mandela Bay Metro despite a controversial vote of no confidence yesterday.

This was after 60 of the 120 Nelson Mandela councillors voted in favour of the motion against Bobani put up by the Patriotic Alliance councillor Marlon Daniels.

DA councillor Nqaba Bhanga supported Daniels and after discussion by parties, it was put to a vote.
