Where to hang out this Easter

WITH the four-day weekend ahead most of us are looking forward to the extra long period to relax and enjoy time with family and friends.

Our Land exhibition

Jazzy sounds

THE Imonti Jazz Band plays at the Mdantsane Hotel on Sunday at 2pm. Entry for the event is R30.

Ginsberg Film Festival

THE Ginsberg Film Festival which will see documentaries and South African films screened starts today. The festival taking place in Ginsberg, near King William’s Town ends on April 21. All are welcome to take part.

Easter bunny

HAVE your child’s photo taken with the Easter bunny in Pollocks Easter Village at Vincent Park and get free entry in their Easter colouring-in competition. Great prizes up for grabs from Saturday till April 27. For more details, contact 043-783-6700.

Contemporary dance

Farm fun

DStv iRock Emonti

THE much anticipated iRock Emonti music festival starts this Saturday at the Buffalo Park Stadium. The show will see the likes of Lira, Ntando, Ringo, DJ Zinhle and more entertaining the masses. Tickets for the show cost R180 and for the gospel show on Sunday, tickets cost R150, available from Computicket. Gates at the stadium open at 1pm on Saturday and at midday on Sunday.
