SA taxpayer still paying through the nose for Zuma’s legal bills

For how long are the taxpayers going to have to foot President Jacob Zuma’s legal bills and battles? One scandal after the other but he is holding on for dear life. His day to appear in court has come, to face a total of 783 corruption charges.

The number of charges against him are so overwhelming it would it be wise for him to tender his resignation and step down as the President of South Africa. He has already failed to uphold the constitution and has breached his oath of office.

South Africa cannot be led by an individual who is bringing the country into disrepute with an uncaring attitude and who is only interested in enriching himself. This while so many people are living in poverty and starving.

Come on Mr President, your time is up. It is time to face reality and its consequences. — RDC, via email

YES, of course Mr JZ has a shower mentality and will continue trying by all possible means to place South Africa in the junk state of oblivion and or in an abyss from which there will be no return

“The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all” said US President John F Kennedy.

“Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy – its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery” were the words of the UK’s Winston Churchill.

“Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organised conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe,” said Frederick Douglass.

I am 100% anti-corruption and I will fight to save this country. And I urge other South Africans to be more vigilant. — Fezile Potwana, via e-mail
