Millionaire East London businessman Michael Osner was confronted by enraged staff after he abruptly closed the doors of a popular pub yesterday and walked out, allegedly leaving their wages and tips unpaid.
In a shocking development yesterday, the Nahoon Arms English pub and grub, which has been mired in controversy in the last few months, shut its doors – but staff said they would not leave until they were paid. Twenty fuming waitrons, barkeepers and cleaners said they were owed thousands in tips and wages and vowed to sleep at the premises – once a thronging hot spot – until co-owner Osner paid up.
