THE history of brutal attacks and chilling violence in the woods around Eastern Beach in East London has been well documented over the years.

However the dangerous “hell hole” of East London is also home to about 20 homeless people.

Bathabile Mhlahlo has lived here for two years.

The 21-year-old homeless man from Mdantsane makes a living by helping with braais at the popular Ebuhlanti spot.
