Blaze doused before any major damage
AN ALERT Stirling woman may have saved herself from being a victim of East London’s notorious serial car arsonist when she managed to extinguish a fire under her vehicle early yesterday.
Her car had been parked outside in the yard as there was no space in the family garage. “We let the dog out to go look around. We put the fire out and called the police,” she said.
Kessler said the fire was coming from a plastic container filled with sand.
