BEGINNING this Friday, Al Jazeera news channel will screen for the first time the South African Up Series, documentaries that follow the lives of 20 children growing up in the country who were seven in 1992.
Al Jazeera’s English director of programmes, Paul Eedle, said: “The South African transformation resonates the world over, and painting pictures of the past extraordinary years through these young people’s lives is something that will entice viewers everywhere.”
