Buthelezi casts vote for elections at namesake court

Inkatha Freedom Party leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi cast his vote at the Buthelezi Traditional Court Ekudubekeni at Mahlabathini in KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday.

Speaking after voting, Buthelezi told SABC news he planned to spend the rest of the day visiting other polling stations to see how the process was running.

Buthelezi, clad in a black and yellow-striped blazer with a large red IFP rosette, earlier answered a journalist's question about what he had for breakfast.

He disclosed that he had enjoyed grapefruit and poached eggs before coming to take part in democracy-in-action.
