Oscar acquitted of illegal possession of ammunition

Pistorius has been acquitted of a charge of illegal possession of ammunition.

Judge Thokozile Masipa said the State failed to prove its case beyond reasonable doubt.

"He therefore cannot be found guilty on this count," she said in the High Court in Pretoria.

Count 4 relates to the illegal possession of ammunition after the police found .38 ammunition in the safe of Pistorius's home after the shooting.

Also on Friday, Masipa found Pistorius guilty of discharging a firearm in a restaurant, but not guilty on another charge of firing a shot through a sunroof
