BREAKING NEWS: Winnie's bombshells in court challenge to Madiba will

NELSON Mandela's ex-wife Winnie Madikizela-Mandela has, through her lawyers, filed a notice of motion in the Mthatha High Court disputing parts of Mandela's will.

Madikizela-Mandela wants the court to declare clause 4.5.3 of Mandela's will a nullity.

The clause declares that the Qunu property be under the Nelson Rholihlahla Mandela Family Trust and that the trustees of the trust administer the property for the benefit of the Mandela family, Graca Machel and her two children and that the property be used by the family in perpetuity.

In her earlier claim to the executors of the Will, Madikizela-Mandela made her claim on grounds of customary law.

According to custom, when a man separates from his wife, he leaves their marital home and builds another house for his new bride.

She also claimed that the Qunu property was acquired by her in 1989 when Mandela was still behind bars.

The Dispatch has obtained the court papers which contain a number of sensational revelations.
