Make your Daily Dispatch come alive with video reports just by pointing your cellphone at a picture in the paper.

Using a free high-tech app called Aurasma, any picture in the paper showing the distinctive purple logo, shown here, will reveal a video report attached to it.

To see the video, all you do is launch the Aurasma app and hold your cellphone steady over the picture – and, hey presto, you will be able to see the video.

The Aurasma app can be installed free on an iOS or Android smartphone. For iOS phones, go to the Apple App Store and for Android go to Google Play.

Once it is installed, find the Daily Dispatch account on Aurasma, follow it and “like” it.

Then, when you see the Aurasma logo on a Dispatch newspaper page or on the DispatchLive website, open the Aurasma app and hold your phone over the image. Still confused? Check out a short tutorial on the Daily Dispatch account on YouTube for step-by-step instructions.

Please bear in mind that standard cellphone data charges do apply.
