Popular house band Mi Casa will be performing live at Hemingways tomorrow.Hemingways marketing manager Neville Austin said bringing Mi Casa’s Homecoming party to East London was their way of starting the year off on a high note.
“The band was set to perform in August of 2015, but had to cancel their appearance due to unforeseen circumstances.
“They have kept their promise to their East London fans and we are excited to host them in January,” said Austin.
Mi Casa has inspired audiences around the globe with their signature soulful sound and unparalleled creativity and have skyrocketed to success locally and internationally.
The group’s debut album, Mi Casa Music, reached platinum status within six months of release.
This feat and others put Mi Casa on the map and they have since opened for international acts such as Drake, John Legend and Kool & The Gang.
Mi Casa’s sophomore album, Su Casa Mi Casa, went on to become a double platinum seller and the group is enjoying a wave of success with their new album, Home Sweet Home, which includes the hits Chocolat, Barman and Chasing the Sun.
“We are delighted to be hosting Mi Casa’s homecoming party. Fans can look forward to hearing all their favourite singles as well as some new tracks from their latest album.
“This live one-night-only show is set to sell out fast, so music lovers should get their tickets early,” said Austin.
