Oskido: It's good to see Okmalumkoolkat back where he belongs

It’s been a little over a month since rapper Simiso Zwane‚ popularly known as Okmalumkoolkat‚ returned to South Africa after serving a month-long sentence in a Tasmanian prison. And the artist is slowly making his way back into the industry.

The rapper made his first public appearance since returning to South Africa just three weeks ago‚ and has gradually made his way back onto the local music scene‚ with the encouragement and support of his fans and friends.

His return has been noted by several of his peers‚ and taking to social media over the weekend‚ DJ and music mogul Oscar “Oskido” Mdlongwa said it was good to see the Bob Mabena hitmaker “back in the game.”

“It’s good to see Okmalumkoolkat back in the game where he belongs‚” Oskido wrote as part of a post where he is seen posing with rapper Nasty C.

Earlier this year Okmalumkoolkat was sentenced to six months in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman in her hotel room in the city of Hobart in January. Upon returning to South Africa after serving a month of his sentence‚ he apologized to fans promising to “explain the events as they happened from my perspective” in due time.
