The rumoured beef between Chad DA Don and Cassper Nyovest has just been sealed‚ with Chad releasing a track entitled Chad is Better.
In the track‚ the EFT hitmaker takes aim at Cassper giving fans a glimpse of what really caused him to leave Cassper’s record label‚ Family Tree in August last year.
Despite swirling rumours of a feud between the rappers at the time‚ Chad repeatedly shut them down‚ explaining that he wanted to take charge of his own career.
Judging by Chad’s latest track there is definitely some unsettled beef between them.
The track starts off with Chad rapping about how heroes can also fall and then moves onto rapping about he says Cassper didn’t believe in him.
“I left the label and I’m moving on. I heard you got money now‚ spent about R500K on a Bent‚ that’s okay motherf**k‚ remember the money you owe me for rent. I can’t‚ I can’t‚ I can’t let it go that they said I’d never blow‚” Chad rapped.
“Your methods are flawed‚ you selling people the dream that they applaud but I needed it more‚ if only you could have believed in me more but keep the awards‚ soon you going to need it more.”
The chorus of the song pokes fun at Cassper’s hit track‚ Doc Shebeleza and goes a little something like this‚ “I had the crowd screaming got the crowd to say‚ Doc Doc Chad is Better.”
Within minutes of the track being released both Chad and Cassper topped the Twitter trends list.
