Comedy-cabaret to debut in EL

Join Hoërskool Grens for their school fundraiser at the Guild Theatre in East London next week when Centrestage funnyman Gino Fabbri brings his new comedy-cabaret to the city.

On Saturday May 28 prepare to be “amazed and confused” as Fabbri introduces the over-confident yet wildly insecure comedian with a lisp, Clive Thmithers, in the show Laughy Laughy, Party Party to audiences for the very first time.

Sister Sipisticist, a feisty Irish Catholic nun, also makes a spirited appearance, along with Indian wheeler-dealer Rancid Punjabi, who introduces audiences to a brand new chapter in his complicated family and business life. You’ll also experience a brand new finale as Fabbri teams up with ace vocalist and party promoter Wayne Kallis and East London’s Kerry Hiles.

Hiles, who paid tribute to Janis Joplin and Amy Winehouse in Centrestage’s 27 Club recently, performs alongside Fabbri throughout the country.

Kallis should amuse and impress with his performance of Bohemian Rhapsody in the voices of 15 of the most recognisable rock singers of all time.

Tickets cost R120 and can be booked at Computicket.
