Fun events mark the end of May

The fun never stops in East London. Here’s this week’s list of cool things.

State of the nation

WELL-known comedian Loyiso Gola brings his state of the nation comedy show to East London tomorrow at The Venue@ Hemingways. Tickets cost R150 and are available at Computicket.

Lots of laughs

COMEDIAN Khanyisa Bunu brings her comedy act to the Mdantsane Sun on Saturday. The Hleka Mzansi comedy show starts at 8pm and tickets are R70 at the door. Also featuring Anele Shube, Sonwabile Sigcau, Zicco Sithole and Aljoy Chick.

Live local rock

MissTree performs a tribute to the Fantastic Four – the Eagles, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits and Tom Petty – tomorrow and Saturday nights at 7pm at Legends Showcase Venue in East London. Tickets from Lee Gold Music or at the door at R130 include the “build-a-burger”. A licensed bar is available.

Quentin live

Fashion show
