The Daily Dispatch Win-a-Car competition is back, with the new round of the competition being officially launched at Hemingways tomorrow.

The newspaper and its partner Peugeot East London are giving away a new Peugeot 208 Pop Art to one Dispatch reader.

Circulation supervisor Namhla Viteka said the Dispatch would launch the competition tomorrow at the Hemingways Food Court from 9am. “This is the perfect time for all our customers to come and buy their paper there and enter the competition,” she said.

From Monday, readers can enter the competition daily until its closing date on September 3. “Customers can drop their entry forms at selected stores that will have the entry boxes. The stores will be advertised in the paper weekly.”

Last year’s competition drew more than 280000 entries from the public.

The winner, Pamela Jacobs, said she was still enjoying her car.

“We’ve taken it to Cape Town a couple of times....It has not given me problems; it’s low on petrol consumption as well.”

Jacobs said she had filled in about 20 entry forms, and had been encouraging a lot of people to enter the competition this year. — poliswap@dispatch.co.za
