Rhino killer suspects appear in court

Three men who allegedly killed a rhino near Grahamstown last month appeared briefly in court this morning.

Three men who allegedly killed a rhino near Grahamstown last month appeared briefly in court this morning. Zimbabweans Forget Ndlovu,40, and Jabulani Ndlovu,38, and South African Sikhumbuzo Ndlovu, 37, were remanded in custody by magistrate Ntsoki Moni until September 30 for a formal bail application.

The men were arrested allegedly in possession of a  horn hours after Campbell the Bucklands Game Reserve rhino was slaughtered near Grahamstown.

Senior counsel advocate Terry Price and attorney Sizwe Maci represented the accused while State advocate Nikki Turner appeared  for the State.
