Protesters have started arriving at the Kenton-on-Sea Magistrate's Court to oppose the planned bail application of two local men accused of raping and sexually molesting several young girls.

The men, aged in their 60s and 70s,  are being charged separately on charges allegedly involving eight girls under 12 years old.

Protesters are singing songs calling for bail to be denied.

The men were arrested last week in the affluent resort town. A planned bail application earlier this week did not happen after court recording equipment would not work.
