A planned water outage is likely to see water run out in Mdantsane tomorrow (Sunday).
Buffalo City Metro spokesman Sibusiso Cindi says the metro is working the Umzonyana treatment works from 8am to 4pm.
This is a precautionary notice as supply may be affected to Mdantsane.
Cindi said: “There will be a power shutdown at Umzonyana water treatment plant from 8am to 4pm on Sunday and on October 23 due to the electrical connections for the upgraded Mdantsane pump station in order to avoid future outages that have been happening during summer holidays.”
He said the metro would provide water tankers for areas without water.
