Five Walter Sisulu University students facing murder charges were granted bail by the Mthatha Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
The charges of murder, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm and malicious damage to property related to the death of final-year medical student Lwando Mantshontsho, who was found with multiple stab wounds at the university’s Nelson Mandela Drive campus on May 12.
