Third suspect in court over bishop's murder

A third suspect linked to the murder of an Mthatha church bishop

has appeared in the Mthatha Magistrate's Court.

The 54-year-old Methodist Church of Southern Africa bishop in the Clarkebury district died after being shot in the chest on August 1.

Two suspects, 20-year-old Mfundo Mafa and Babini Mangala,24, appeared in court on Friday last week.

The third suspects, Fezile Nokwabuza has also opted for legal lawyer to represent him.

Nokwabuza appeared in court on Friday last week prior to Mafa and Mangala's court appearance on a separate case where he is facing housebreaking and armed robbery charges.

Following his brief court appearance today in connection with Fandaleki's murder, he was told that he would next appear in court together with his two co-accused Mafa and Babini on Friday this week.
