A woman was shot dead and another critically wounded after they were kidnapped, shot execution-style and dumped off a cliff near Buffalo Pass Road in East London.
Bulelwa Mpitipiti - believed to be in her 50s - died from two bullets to the head while her friend, Nomboniso Ntwana, 54, survived and is fighting for her life in hospital.
The incident happened on Tuesday evening at the Buffalo Pass road. A traffic officer who was driving by discovered the gruesome scene around 10pm last night.
