Sinethemba Mosana is among a group of students that are demonstrating around the University of Fort Hare’s Alice campus this afternoon.
The 20-year-old student says she is part of the march to add her voice on the fight against gender based violence.
Like many students, who talked to the Dispatch, Mosana says she is was living in fear everyday.
“It is not safe to be a student here. I am here to make a call to the management to protect us ,” she said.
The march comes a few days after a 20-year-old student was gang-raped while on her way to her residence.
No arrests have been made in the rape case.
