East London police seized tik with a street value of R14080 at the weekend.Warrant Officer Hazel Mqala said a suspect was arrested in possession of the crystal meth in a stop and search operation carried out by the crime prevention unit in the city’s CBD on Sunday.
Also in East London, a shebeen operating without a licence was closed down in Duncan Village.
Liquor and dangerous weapons, including a firearm and knives, were confiscated.
