Dressed in a satin  purple gown, she mesmerised mourners as she sang the famous medley "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" at the funeral in East London.

In her company was the Sweet Voices of Africa Ensemble male band from Mdantsane.

Her father Douglas Vakele  Mapisa died two weeks ago after suffering prostrate cancer.

Among the mourners were high-profile politicians and business people including Bantu Holomisa, Gugile Nkwinti, Mcebisi Skwatsha, Noxolo Kieviet and Xola Pakati. Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini walked in with Buffalo City Metro mayor Xola Pakati.
