Shopkeepers from small towns in KwaZulu-Natal were bust by a government task-force this week for illegal hunting in the forests above Port St Johns.
The six businessmen from Kokstad, Harding and Port Shepstone were dressed in camouflage outfits, and were armed with six expensive, heavy-calibre rifles.
They had two-way radios and a pack of eight trained hunting dogs wearing GPS collars to direct the hunters to the wounded or dead wildlife.
