Class action lawsuit against Tiger Brands

Richard Spoor Incorporated Attorney’s have teamed up with top US food safety law firm Marler Clark to file a class action lawsuit against Tiger Brands on behalf of the families of people who died after eating processed meat contaminated with listeria produced and distributed by Enterprise Foods in Polokoane and on behalf of people who contracted listeriosis but survived.

Last weekend the National Consumer Commission recalled Enterprise polony‚ russians and frankfurters as well as Rainbow Chicken Polony‚ due to the presence of listeria monocytogenes bacteria at the factories that produce this food.

At least 180 patients have died from listeriosis.
