The stretch of the esplanade between Moore and Longfellow streets in the Quigney, East London, is currently closed.
This was announced by BCM spokeswoman Bathandwa Diamond who said the reason for the closure was to accommodate the Africa Day parade.
The parade forms part of the Africa Day celebration at Osner Hotel.
