ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe hits the election campaign trail today in Grahamstown.
During the visit he will campaign door-to-door meeting voters, hold a manifesto rally and meet with provincial and regional ANC leaders and trade unions.

An intriguing item on ANC posters advertising the event was a planned performance by "DJ Gwede" at Phola's Tavern in Fingo Village to round off the visit.
A top Sarah Baartman ANC regional leader said Mantashe would spin the discs as a DJ at the tavern as advertised - if he had the time.
