Jub Jub allegedly stabbed in prison

Convicted hip-hop artist Jub Jub was allegedly embroiled in a sparring match at Leeuwkop Prison on Sunday‚ leaving him with stab wounds on his stomach and thighs. 

Move! magazine is reporting that that the award-winning rapper was stabbed and assaulted after an argument broke out between him and another inmate during a soccer tournament that was held at the prison.

Explaining how the squabble started‚ the local publication’s insider said: “Jub Jub gave his fellow prisoner a parcel to keep for him as he was busy discussing something with other inmates. When Jub Jub asked for the parcel to be handed back to him by a fellow prisoner‚ an argument ensued.”

“They started shoving each other and later fists flew. In the process‚ Jub Jub was stabbed with a handmade knife. He was stabbed on his stomach and thighs‚” the source further revealed‚ adding that “he was nearly slaughtered.”

According to another source‚ warders had to step in to stop the violent brawl.

“Shots were fired and all the prisoners down on the ground‚ with their hands over their hands. It was scary as most of us were thinking that we would be shot.”

More sources claim that Jub Jub‚ who is currently serving his 15-year sentence‚ was taken to hospital‚ where he received treatment before being moved to solitary confinement.

Despite all these claims‚ the Department of Correctional Services spokesperson‚ Ofentse Morwane‚ reportedly poured cold water over these allegations.

“There is nothing like that. He has not been stabbed and has not involved in any fight recently. The allegations are baseless and unfounded.”
