Police are on the hunt for more suspects in the theft of three luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicles stolen from the East London harbour last week.
Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela confirmed this, saying only one vehicle had been recovered by police so far.
“The search is still on for the other suspects and the other two vehicles that were stolen in East London last week,” said Fatyela.
Four suspects, accused of being involved in the theft of the luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicles worth R4-million, were arrested in Slovo Park informal settlement outside Mthatha at the weekend.
The four suspects were expected to appear in Mthatha Magistrate’s Court yesterday. — bonganif@dispatch.co.za
