A house belonging to well-known East London rugby twins Odwa and Akhona Ndungane has been vandalised and stripped bare.
Akhona then referred the Daily Dispatch to their mother Sheila Ndungane, who could not be contacted at the time of writing.
The house has three bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, a double garage, spacious kitchen, large entertainment area with thatched roof and a swimming pool.
The front door has been removed and some windows are broken.
Ward councillor Isabel Thompson said she had not received any reports about the state of the house.
“This is the first I am hearing of this.
“I will investigate, but I also urge the owners to please look after the house before it becomes a haven of criminal activity in our community.” — mbalit@dispatch.co.za
