Up-and-coming East London DJ Luyolo ‘Yoba Unltd’ Ziwele stands on the precipice of seeing a dream come true.
The Mdantsane-based hip-hop DJ who entered a competition by world renowned DJ Black Coffee is currently leading the voting poll on the on Facebook. Speaking to DispatchLive the DJ asked people to continue voting for him on the competition’s Facebook page before the close of competition at 10pm tonight.

The DJ, who said this is an opportunity for him to break from “the East London scene”, attributes leading the competition to his East London supporters.
“My mixing skills are outstanding,” is what he says sets him apart from his competition. Yoba Unltd said he has monthly mixes and the entry that was selected by the DJ was his October monthly mix. The top 10 entrants had sent their tapes to Black Coffee from which he selected his 10 favourites.
The names of the 10 chosen DJs were then put on the social network where people can vote for their favourite who will take the illustrious grand prize.
The DJ said “The sky is the limit” if he wins the competition.
