Police appear to have botched the arrest and court appearance of a wanted suspect and alleged assailant of a Sunrise-on-Sea couple shortly before Christmas.
The couple, Mickey and Sharon Kirkhoff, were brutally assaulted by three men whom they had hired as casual workers.
Last Wednesday, police arrested Xolisile Jucwa from Duncan Village in connection with the attack.
