Three Eastern Cape traffic officers and a driving school owner were among those arrested for allegedly selling fraudulent leaner and driver licenses earlier this week.

The men are believed to be part of a group who are selling license from the Adelaide, Port Alfred and Alexandria Traffic Departments in the Eastern Cape.

According to Hawks spokesman Major Robert Netshiunda, police arrested Adelaide Traffic Department Chief Traffic Officer Ricardo Du Plooy,46, the traffic Officer responsible for eye testing at the same department Loyiso Goba,43, and Learner’s and Driver’s Licences examiner Jolene Freda Ntshiza, 38, earlier this week.

The trio were arrested together with Ace Driving School owner and ex-traffic officer Vuyisile Mnyani,48, as well as his employee Sivuyile Tsiti.
