Bhisho is currently without water following the theft of copper cables at the Amatola Water Board Pump station last night.
Buffalo City Metro spokesman Thandy Matebese said in a statement this morning: "Please be advised that the whole of Bhisho water supply has been interrupted due to cable theft.
"Amatola maintenance teams are on site rectifying the situation. Water supply will be restored at approximately 5pm today."
Matebese added water tankers will be dispatched to the affected areas.
