The war between the father of slain Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa and musician Kelly Khumalo continues after PSL chairman‚ Irvin Khoza‚ confirmed a payout was close to being finalised.
Khoza will meet the Meyiwa family next week to finalise a multi-million-rand payout. But Senzo’s father‚ Sam Meyiwa‚ is determined to make sure his son’s former girlfriend‚ Kelly Khumalo does not get a cent.
Khumalo was present in the Vosloorus home where Senzo was shot and killed in October 2014. Meyiwa has previously stated that he believes Khumalo knows who killed Senzo‚ insisting that she has chosen to keep their identity a secret.
Despite reports that police have closed in on possible suspects there have been no arrests.
