Touch shocked many this week when he announced his resignation from the station on Monday. His decision caused a near meltdown on social media‚ with fans flooding Twitter with messages of support for their idol.
After several hours of trending‚ Tbo Touch responded to the love by announcing a farewell party where‚ wait for it‚ all drinks are on him!
Although no promotional material for the event has been released by Kong yet‚ fans have already started booking the 8th on their calendar.
Meanwhile‚ the DJ was not present for his Touchdown Metro FM show on Tuesday afternoon and wished his successor well.
With no word yet on his replacement‚ fans have suggested the likes of DJ Fresh‚ Phat Joe and even Somizi as possible candidates.
