THE funeral of a Tsholomnqa woman, who died two weeks ago in a car accident, will take place at a neutral venue, the Bhisho High Court ruled on Thursday.

This was after the woman’s widower, Xolani Yaso, brought an urgent application last week calling for an interim order to stop his in-laws from burying her without his involvement.

The order was granted.

Judge Selby Mbengane met with the two parties, that included Yaso and the woman’s adoptive parents, in his chambers.

There he told them that they needed to find each other in order to give 37-year-old Thembisa Dikeleyo a dignified funeral.

The funeral will take place tomorrow at Tsholomnqa.

The court has suggested that it take place in a neutral place such as school or community hall.
