Bulelwa Ndudula, the wife of slain Eastern Cape department of social development chief of staff Sakhekile Ndudulawas dealt a heavy blow this morning after she was condemned to prison for another month.

The ruling was made earlier today as the 44-year-old woman who is accused of killing her husband by shooting him seven times on the morning of September 14 appeared in the East London Magistrate’s Court.

The court heard that police had not yet completed their investigation and therefore were granted an extension until December 14.

The date has been set down for Ndudula's next court appearance.
