Eight people have been injured after a fire-truck overturned and collided with two other vehicles in Constantia Kloof‚ west of Johannesburg‚ on Tuesday.
The large firefighting vehicle lay on its side in the middle of the road against one light motor vehicle. One light motor vehicle was found partially crushed beneath the fire vehicle.
The injuries sustained were classified as minor to moderate‚ said ER24.
Four of the injured were believed to have been fire fighters.
Traffic was heavily affected to due the collision.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations‚ said Russel Meiring‚ ER24 spokesperson.
