JUST IN: Mnquma boss Tantsi arrested by Hawks

Mnquma municipal Manager Sindile Tantsi has been arrested by a Hawks task team.

National Hawks spokesman Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the suspect was arrested this morning on charges of fraud and corruption amounting to millions of rands.

"He is currently in custody. He was arrested today between Butterworth and Mthatha. He will appear in the Butterworth Magistrate Court tomorrow morning to face charges against him," Mulaudzi said.
