Amathole ANC regional secretary Teris Ntutu has handed himself over to the Hawks to face charges of fraud and corruption.
The Hawks are now transporting him to the Butterworth Magistrate's Court where he will make a brief appearance.
Supporters already in the Butterworth Magistrate's Court include Nelson Mandela Bay ANC leader Andile Lungisa.
